VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY NEEDED

 

 

LEISURETOWNE TOWN WATCH

 

   TOWN WATCH IN LEISURETOWNE IS NOT A POLICE GROUP.   THEIR FUNCTION IS TO HELP YOUR NEIGHBORS WITH  EVERY DAY SITUATIONS THAT MIGHT CAUSE PROBLEMS

 

There are 3 categories that make up the Town watch

 

BASE OPERATORS

Receive reports from the patrols and take whatever action is necessary (usually a telephone call to advise residents about the situation).

  CAPTAINS

Arrange to meet patrol teams. Call a couple days before tour as  a reminder. Night of tour provide magnetic signs, radios' patrol form and book. Make sure there is radio contact with the Base Operator. Assign teams area to patrol either area 1 or area 2. At 11:00 pm meet patrol team and retrieve all equipment. Make sure radios are turned off. Arrange for training of new members.     Day after patrol pass on equipment to next captain.

  PATROL TEAMS

Patrol streets of LeisureTowne and report anything they feel is important to the Base Operator.

 

       VOLUNTEERS ARE ASKED TO WORK 2 HOURS EVERY OTHER MONTH
