Bulletin - Personal and Home Safety.
In the past weeks there have
been a few reported break-ins of
residencies in LeisureTowne.
Although this is disturbing it should not
be a reason to consider the
community as an unsafe area to live.
In this period of financial
turmoil, some of our fellow citizens consider
Seniors as easy targets.
There are some simple steps
you can take to keep yourself safe.
DO’ s and DO NOT’S
DO: Keep
your windows, doors and vehicles locked.
DO: Be
aware of what is happening in your neighborhood.
DO: Report
any suspicious or unknown persons around your
home
and
your neighbor's home.
DO:
CALL 911 with this information. IMMEDIATELY.
DO: Call
and inform the LeisureTowne office that you made
a
911 call about an incident.
DO NOT:
Leave your home to confront an unknown or suspicious
person.
DO NOT: Call
the LeisureTowne guard houses to respond to an
incident, the guards are NOT a police agency.
CALL 911.
